Humphreys and Partners specializes in multifamily, mixed-use, and hospitality designs. The firm was founded by Greg Faulkner and Mark Humphreys in 1991. It is headquartered in Dallas and has regional offices all over the world. Its design services can be found in 49 states and it has global offices in Vietnam, London, and Mexico. One of its highest honors was being ranked first as the nation’s largest multifamily architecture firm by Building Design + Construction Magazine. Just last year, the Aurora Awards awarded the firm five distinctions for its multifamily projects. The firm made a name for itself designing “Big House” projects, in which multi-family residences look like single-family houses.

FEATURED PROJECTS
Humphreys designed the 16-story luxury condo tower known as Lakeside Tower and Bungalows on Lake Grapevine. Found within the billion-dollar Lakeside development in Flower Mound, the 178,000-square-foot building includes 150 suites and 48 condos. Highlights of these luxury spaces include the 10-foot ceilings and Wolf Sub-zero appliances. Nesting glass doors open up to balconies offering a view of the lake. Another stunning mixed-use development is the 1001 Ross, a three-story tower with a mezzanine over a one-level retail and restaurant space and one level of underground parking. The building is found in West End Dallas and has 204 rental units and a pool. The units have an industrial design with exposed brick and wrought iron staircases. The project won the McSam Award for Best Multifamily Rental Community from the Home Builders Association of Greater Dallas.
